Power Studio version 1.21.1

Power Studio version 1.21.1 is now available. This maintenance update focuses on download, API and platform reliability, remote and multi-studio workflows and playout and live-assist operation, the kind of behind-the-scenes work that keeps production machines predictable. It is a sensible update for stations that want current components, fewer edge cases and a stable day-to-day workflow.

This version of Power Studio further enhances system reliability by aligning internal error handling and retry mechanisms with updates in the external database library. It also includes significant improvements in storing and recalling screen layouts and user settings.

Tracks Browser
Added filters forTempoandMood. Added batch update functionality forTempo,Mood,Language, andContent Type. Fixed an issue where the Track Browser width decreased each time the form was opened with the filter tree visible.

Radio Player Plugin
Under "Options & Settings > Plugins > Radio Player titles plugin", functionality is added to display "now playing" information in Radio Player, directly from Power Studio. For this you need a API user name, API key and RPUID. You can get the RPUID from my.radioplayer.org. Contact Radio Player directly to obtain a user name and API key.

Format Editor
Criteria list boxes in theClock Formatscreen now resize dynamically when the window is resized.

Playlist
ThePreviewin the playlist now starts from the actual playout position (Item.StartPosition).

Commercials and Playlist Block Import
Power Traffic commercials and Block Imports on the first playlist load of the day are now only executed on machines permitted to execute macros. Improved the speed of downloading commercial blocks, especially in configurations where multiple Power Studio clients are active continuously.

Library Import
Enhanced Carmen Server import to better handle consistency errors in the Carmen database. Enhanced the Aeron PG import, to automatically handle databases with non-standard database schema name.

Bulletin Builder
Added support for modern security ciphers. Implemented the HTTPUser-Agentheader for broader support across multiple web servers.

Improvements & Bug Fixes

• Improved storage of window locations and user settings.
• Enhanced database error handling to align with changes in the external database library.
• Updated external components for increased performance and stability.
• Various internal fixes and improvements.
