Power Studio version 1.23.1

Thu, 04 Dec

Power Studio version 1.23.1 is now available, with a clear focus on mixer integration, download, API and platform reliability and remote and multi-studio workflows. For stations that connect Power Studio directly to broadcast hardware, this release adds practical control and integration improvements while still including the expected maintenance fixes.

Power Studio users can download version 1.23.1 from the download-page. The full release notes are listed below.

Playout
The Playout Player's playout position can now be manually changed using the mouse. (Scrubbing) This functionality is off by default. Enable the "Enable manual seeking" option in Options and Settings > General.

Format Planner
In the Clock Format Planner it is now possible to link a format line to the previous line. When a Playlist is generated based on this Format, these items are nog pre-linked. This allows for e.g. pre-linking News, Whether, Commercials, etc. together, removing the responsibility from the DJ to do this in their live shows.

MambaNet control plugin
The carts status is now correctly shown, directly when the user logs into Power Studio. The Next-player indication is now shown correctly, intermediately when playout goes out of Automation mode.

Multi Studio
When a (remote) studio loses it's connection and Central Playout takes over, the studio is now taken off air intermediately.

Rest API Server plugin
The Rest API has been extended with functionality to control the Cart Players and Mix Editor. A setting has been added to enable/disable the requirement for Basic Auth authentication for requests to the API. When authentication is disabled, the permissions for the currently logged in user are used. When no user is logged in, or the user has no permissions to use a particular feature, 401 Unauthorized is returned.

Updated the Swagger UI library for increased performance and stability.
