Players And Playout Modes
Power Studio separates the playlist from the players that put that playlist on air.
Players
Playout players load playlist items and play them through configured audio routes. Cart players are used for quick, presenter-driven items such as jingles, beds or show elements.
Preview routes such as Playlist PFL, Track Browser and Mix Editor should be treated separately from on-air routes. This separation keeps preparation work from reaching the program output by accident.
Automation Mode
Automation Mode lets Power Studio continue the playlist automatically. Use it for unattended hours, overnight programming, backup operation or moments where the station wants predictable automatic playout.
Automation still needs preparation. The playlist, audio availability, routing, fixed items and fallback behavior should be checked before the hour starts.
Live Assist Mode
Live Assist Mode supports presenter-led operation. The presenter can start, stop, preview and control items more directly while Power Studio keeps playlist structure and timing visible.
Training Mode
Training Mode is used when an operator needs to practice without affecting coordinated operation. In multi-studio setups, Training Mode can disable coordination behavior for that instance.
