Station Administration
These chapters require the Administrator role and use the System menu. If you work as a User, ask your station Administrator to carry out these tasks.
Set Up In Dependency Order
- Check station reporting information and the default planning strategy.
- Create the required user logins, voices and business branches.
- Prepare spots, promos and Static items; coordinate library synchronization with the studio.
- Create external references if multiple block definitions must share a playout identity.
- Create block definitions with realistic commercial capacity and presentation items.
- Combine blocks into hour templates and hour templates into day templates.
- Assign day templates to the week and any special dates.
- Activate a test campaign, inspect notifications and verify the complete result in playout.
Save template changes deliberately. They can request background updates to open schedules and affect several campaigns. Check the affected dates before the studio obtains its schedules.
