Daily Workflow
Start Of Day
- Sign in and check the station name.
- Review the Dashboard's Notifications Panel. Open new warnings and significant schedule changes.
- Use View All Alerts when you need older entries. Inspect the event description, timestamp, user and additional information; follow Go to this ... when the linked record is available to your role.
- Review campaigns starting or ending soon, using the account and status filters deliberately.
- Confirm with the studio which days/hours have already been obtained and when the next schedule delivery takes place.
The Dashboard shows a limited set of recent events. Absence from that short list is not proof that an earlier warning has been resolved.
Process A Booking Or Amendment
Check the advertiser, dates, requested count, material and restrictions against the brief. Prepare a Draft first when details are incomplete. For an amendment, note any downloaded count and arrange the treatment of material already delivered to the studio.
After saving an Active campaign, allow background processing, inspect its notifications and review the affected schedule. Confirm the achieved main-spot count, tag-on use and distribution. Use Reports with the correct period and download-status category.
Before Studio Delivery
| Check | What to establish |
|---|---|
| Planning | Required campaigns are Active and requested placements are achievable. |
| Warnings | Scheduling shortfalls and recent layout changes have been reviewed. |
| Material | Correct files, timing and voice assignments are available. |
| Calendar | Week and special-date assignments match the programme schedule. |
| Delivery | The studio knows which date/hour and connection/export to use. |
| Verification | The studio has checked the resulting block and can access the audio. |
Review on screen or with PDFs before downloading playout files. Viewing or downloading a PDF report leaves the download status unchanged; a test export of actual playout schedule files changes it.
Regular Administrator Checks
Review user access, reference-list consistency and upcoming special dates. Check that the station's reporting address/logo is current and that new campaigns use the intended default planning strategy.
After integration or studio updates, repeat a representative synchronization and block test. Verify the complete chain from source material through Power Traffic planning to the studio playlist. Do not use a successful login or a newly created report as the only end-to-end check.
Handover
Record unresolved campaign shortfalls, affected dates/blocks, material replacements and downloaded schedules needing attention. Hand over these concrete details through the station's normal process. Use Troubleshooting to collect useful evidence.
